The 45-minute styling consultation — what makes it different

You sit down. We talk about you. What you do for work, what you wear glasses for (full-time, screen-only, social), what your favourite pair has been, what you hated about your last pair, what you are afraid of in a new frame. We look at your face shape, your colouring, your hair tone, the way you carry yourself. Then we pull frames — usually 8-12 to start with, none of them what you would have picked off the wall on your own. You try them in front of daylight-balanced mirrors. We narrow down. We compare two. You decide — never under pressure, with the option to come back. Consultation is included free with any frame purchase; £30 if standalone.

Pricing

Designer frames range from £120 (boutique introductory pieces) to £950+ (Cartier precious metals, Dita limited editions, high-end Tom Ford). The bulk of our designer range sits £220-£540. Lens packages from £180 (HD single-vision), £350-£480 (premium varifocals), £200 (polarised prescription sun lenses). Full written quote at the styling consultation; nothing charged until you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do designer sunglasses with my prescription?

Yes — all the major luxury sun frames take prescription lenses, including polarised, gradient, photochromic, and full-tint options. Lead times typically 2-3 weeks (prescription work happens at a specialist lab).

Can I bring my own prescription?

Yes, as long as it is reasonably recent (within 2 years). If older or you would like updated, we offer 45-minute eye tests with OCT scans at the practice.

What if I want a brand you don’t stock?

We can order from any UK distributor we work with — typically within 5-7 working days for in-person fitting at the practice, no commitment. Brands we routinely order outside in-store collection include Mykita, Lindberg, Theo, Andy Wolf, Anne et Valentin, and Eyevan.

Do you offer home visits for elderly relatives?

Yes — domiciliary (home) eye tests across the Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Bramhall, Stockport, Hale, Wilmslow, and Wythenshawe area, with a curated frame selection brought to you. NHS-funded for eligible patients.
