Etnia Barcelona, and why the frames are more than plastic
Etnia Barcelona was founded in 2001 by a family that had been making frames in Barcelona since the 1950s, and it has one purpose: colour. The acetate comes from Mazzucchelli in Italy, the sunglasses use mineral glass lenses that stay scratch-free for years, and every collection is photographed like an art project. Etnia is the frame we reach for when someone says they want something with a bit of life in it.
