I’m Sohail, an optometrist and one of the two directors here. Abra and I did not open our practices to put people through an eye test as fast as possible. We opened them because we had both sat in the other chair and been rushed, pushed towards glasses we did not need, and sent out none the wiser.
So we run every practice, including Heckmondwike, by one rule: treat every patient the way we would treat our own family. That is why you get forty-five minutes, why your scans go on the screen in front of you, and why our optometrists will tell you plainly when you do not need new glasses. It is also why most of the people you meet here have been with us for years.
