Aftercare
Everyone who wears contact lenses, whoever fitted them. If it has been more than a year since your eyes were looked at with lenses in, this is the appointment.
Twenty minutes. Your eyes with the lenses in, under the microscope: how the lens sits and moves, how the cornea and lids look after a year of wear, how your tear film is doing. Then your vision through the lenses, and a conversation about how they are going. If a newer lens would suit you better, we tell you and you decide. £70.
The check is where small problems are caught before they become infections or intolerance. Wearers who skip it for years are the ones who end up giving lenses up. It is also the appointment where most people discover a lens that is better than the one they have.
The plan
£70, whoever fitted your lenses.
We check how the lenses fit, how well you see, and the health of the front of your eye.
If a newer lens would suit you better, we tell you and let you try it.
Skip the checks, and small problems grow quietly until your eyes are red and sore.
Keep them yearly, and your eyes stay healthy in lenses for years.
