At Abra & Co, our Personalisation Clinic begins working for you even before you step through our doors. We meticulously review your records, or for new clients, discuss your needs during booking. This preparation allows us to identify ways we can enhance your visit, from arranging transportation to pre-selecting eyewear tailored to your preferences. Our proactive approach ensures we’re fully attuned to your needs, demonstrating our commitment to exceptional, personalised service from the moment you choose to engage with us.
When you visit our practice, we start our Discovery Process. This involves making you comfortable, engaging in conversations about your preferences in frames, and exploring your past experiences, whether good or bad. We delve into any concerns you might have and consider your overall health. This comprehensive understanding forms the foundation of our service, ensuring we tailor our approach to your unique needs, all before your official consultation begins. This is all done before your eye test. We don’t do any pre-screening because all our clinical tests are performed by our highly qualified Optometrists.
At Abra & Co, our approach begins with a detailed case history to understand your unique visual needs and past experiences. Our Optometrists will understand your eyes, review the information gathered at the Discovery phase and delve deeper into any concerns you may have. We delve into your hobbies, your home/work environments and any specific needs you have.
We then conduct thorough tests to assess your vision accurately. We perform over 12 different tests on your eyes, and examine the internal and external eye health comprehensively. This allows us to understand what condition your eyes are in, relative to your age and therefore what clinical recommendations need to be made to help keep your eyes healthy.
Once our Optometrists have understood your concerns and your unique needs, a lens recommendation is made. We don’t do generic one size fits all recommendations. In most high street Opticians, the Optometrist doesn’t really understand the whole catalogue of spectacle lenses available. This is because their job is only to test eyes and make a recommendation.
Our Optometrists however have been trained to understand all spectacle lenses and their limitations. By knowing this, we can provide expert recommendations tailored to your lifestyle, ensuring optimal vision and comfort. Our advice extends to eye protection, offering solutions to safeguard your eyes from harmful elements, alongside personalised lens recommendations.
